A Amalia numa BERNINA...

Amalias first quilt... it certainly came out beautiful... now it needs quilting...

Amalia has worked HARD... She started a few months ago with the quilt shown here with the purpel fabri and CHITAS... She had NEVER, EVER, sewn on a machine before, and certainly never done any patchwork... now there is NO stopping Amalia... She started machine quilting her frist project today (the green and red quilt) and will soon start to quilt the CHITA work...

Este quilt quase 1,80 x 1,60 foi feito com 4 molhos de SAMPLES (o castanho, o verde o amarelo e o rosa) ...
o TABLE RUNNER esta a ficar lindo... mas ainda nao esta acabado. :(
Este table runner foi feito na aula da Angela em CASCAIS... :)

Trabalho PIECED a mao

Este edredon 2,5 x 2,40 foi todo feito a mao, e MACHINE QUILTED... O trabalho esta lindo. Feito por Dna. Maria de Fatima Miranda do Brasil.

Sample pack wall hanging

Uma ideia para fazer com os packs de 'SAMPLES' QUE TEMOS NA LOJA -- custao 3 euros. E necessario tambem o tecidos liso (amarelo) e o border (verde)... O efeito e lindo.

o RUNNER da Dna. Manuela

Mais uma vez a Dna. Manuela faz um trabalho em patchwork... ainda nao esta acabado, mas acho que esta a ficar lindo... // Yet again Dna. Manuela does a piece in patchwork... not yet finished, but I think it's coming out nice.

THE MINI MACHINE

A new student that could not bring in her machine, used a friends 'portable' (more like 'pocket') sewing machine... And, here is the work she did with the mini machine... Not bad! Okay, it's hard to work with the mini machine because of lack of accuracy, but it's not impossible! :)

Trabalho de ferias...

O tapete de mesa foi todo feita a mao... um primeiro projecto... MAS, depois comprou uma nova maquina BERNINA para poder trabalhar mais depressa... os outros dois quilt-tops sao o trabalho de ferias... :) Esta agora a aprender a quiltar para poder eventualmente acabar os dois projectos maiores. Nao ha quem-a pare! /// The table runner was all hand sewn.. it was her first project. But, she purchased a new BERNINA and the other two qulit-tops are all machine sewn... Her vacation work. :) She is now learing how to quilt so that she can finish the larger pieces. There is no stopping her. :)

Onda... What a life!!

A Anita a trabalhar no novo quilt

A Anita esta a espera do inverno para poder quiltar o quilt castanho que pode ver mais abaixo no blot. Entretanto vai fazer um com tons the salmao e verdes... com os quadrados todos diferentes. :)

Anita is waiting for the winter to be able to quilt her blown quilt - which you can see an an earlier post. In the interim, she's working on a green and salmon quilt .. with all dif. blocks.

Depois de QUASE acabar o quilt dos combois, deu inicio ao novo projecto composto do molho de fat quarters que vendemos na loja este verao (de Marcu Brothers)... Tudos em castanho e rosa velho. Vai sair um quilt the 'PINWHEELS" Acho que vai sair lindo. // After ALMOST finishing the thomas the train quilt, she started a new project composed with the fat quarter packs we sold here in the store this summer (from Marcus Brothers)... All in Browns and dark rose. Its going to be a PINWHEEL quilt. :) Think it's going to come out nice.

O primeiro projecto...

Mais uma aluna que iniciou o trabalho a mao e acabou a coser a maquina. A filha gostou tanto do 'runner' que ficou com ele. Que pena! Quem que fazer outro - desta vez todo a maquina. :)

A quinta da SAMI

Aqui estao alguns galos e galinhas que a cliente / amiga Sami fez do livro da TILDA... nao ha dois iguais, e cada um com a sua personalidade... Os bichinhos sao LINDOA!! / Here are some roosters and chickens that a customer/friend (SAMI) has madeup from TILDAS book... No two are alike and each with its own personality.

DNa. MANUELA'S SECRET PROJECT

Finalmente acabou o quilt secreto. E, fez o quilting todo sozinha. Mas, nao quer mostrar a ninguem com receio que reparem que as 50 flores que quiltou sao todas diferentes. :) Ficou lindo. Este foi todo feito pela Dona Manuela do principio ao fim. :)
